Matthew’s Miracle House
Matthew’s Miracle House (MMH), is named after Matthew Rager, a seven year old brain cancer survivor. During the Rager family’s time in Houston, God changed their lives and showed them that miracles are possible. Christ and Cancer was born from the many blessings the Rager family has experienced during their cancer journey. It is our prayer that MMH will be a safe refuge for patients and their families undergoing radiation treatments. Since housing costs in Houston are high and treatments typically last between six and ten weeks, the costs are a huge burden on families traveling to Houston for treatment.

Christ and Cancer is a Christian religious organization, but Matthew’s Miracle House is available without religious requirements. We want to help you in your time of need and show Christ’s love without preconditions of that nature.
Matthew’s Miracle House is generally intended for families with long stays for treatment in the Texas Medical Center and due to scheduling we are not able to help everyone who needs lodging. We pray that God blesses our ministry so we can provide additional housing.
